Participant Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that aviation activities—including but not limited to flight instruction, discovery flights, aircraft rental, ground training, aircraft operations, and observation of flight activities—carry inherent risks. These risks may include serious injury, property damage, or death resulting from aircraft mechanical failure, pilot or student pilot error, weather conditions or turbulence, airport hazards, or emergency procedures. I voluntarily choose to participate in aviation activities with Belmar Aviation and assume all associated risks.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate in aviation activities, I agree to release, waive, and discharge Belmar Aviation, including its owners, flight instructors, employees, independent contractors, aircraft owners, and agents from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising out of my participation in aviation activities, including those resulting from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in aviation activities and have no known medical condition that would make participation unsafe. I agree to notify Belmar Aviation personnel if any condition arises that could affect safe participation.

4. Compliance With Safety Instructions

I agree to follow all instructions given by Belmar Aviation instructors and personnel regarding aircraft safety procedures, boarding and exiting aircraft, use of safety equipment, and emergency procedures. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in termination of the activity.
